Smoothie
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries any variety like strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
  • 1 cup frozen banana slices use very ripe bananas for sweetness, sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons almond milk or other dairy-free milk
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter, optional for creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla protein powder optional, adds protein boost
Toppings
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil melted, to create a crunchy shell when cooled
  • 3 tablespoons granola for crunch
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds adds texture and nutritional value
  • 1 fresh strawberry sliced, for topping
  • ½ fresh banana sliced, for topping

Method
 

  1. Add frozen berries and banana slices to a blender. Blend on low until the texture is coarse and sandy.

  2. Pour in almond milk, almond butter, and protein powder (if using). Continue blending on low, scraping down the sides as needed, until the mixture achieves a thick "soft serve" consistency.
