Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch kale about 5 oz, fresh, tough stems removed
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger peeled
  • 1 Granny Smith apple or any large apple, core removed
  • 5 celery stalks ends trimmed
  • ½ large English cucumber peeled
  • Handful fresh parsley about 1 oz, chopped

Method
 

  1. Wash and prep all the vegetables and fruits. Cut them into large chunks for easier blending.
    A bowl filled with fresh ingredients for green juice, including kale, cucumber, celery, parsley, and lime slices.
  2. Juice the vegetables and fruits in the listed order. Alternatively, add them to a blender and blend on high.

  3. If using a juicer, pour the juice into glasses and serve immediately. If using a blender, strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove the pulp. Use the back of a spoon to press the pulp and extract extra juice.
