Ingredients
  

  • teaspoon turmeric ground, provides the golden color and earthy flavor
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract adds depth to the flavor
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon adds warmth and sweetness
  • ¼ teaspoon cardamom adds a hint of spice
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper enhances turmeric absorption
  • 1 can unsweetened full-fat coconut milk 13.66 oz., rich and creamy base
  • 2 cups whole milk can substitute with any milk of choice
  • 1- inch piece ginger fresh, grated for a kick of spice
  • 3 tablespoon honey adjust to taste, for sweetness

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients except for the honey to a saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, and let it cook for about 5 minutes, ensuring it does not boil.
  2. Grate the fresh ginger directly into the saucepan, whisk to combine.
