Big Mac Wraps

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef about 450–500 g, 90% lean
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder for seasoning beef
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder for seasoning beef
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce adds umami
  • teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 –3 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt 30–40 g, for sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoons light mayonnaise 20 g, for sauce creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup 15 g, for sauce tang
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard or Dijon, for sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish 15 g, for sauce
  • ½ teaspoon pickle juice optional, adds tang
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder for sauce
  • Pinch smoked paprika for sauce smokiness
  • 4 large high-protein wraps or flour/whole wheat tortillas, for serving
  • 1.5 cups shredded iceberg lettuce about 75 g, for crunch
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese 50 g, for topping
  • ½ cup diced dill pickles 50 g, for topping
  • ¼ –⅓ cup chopped onion optional, adds bite

Method
 

  1. Combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  2. Form the meat into thin patties, then heat a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pan-fry the patties for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and slightly crispy at the edges.
  4. Remove the patties and roughly chop them into bite-sized pieces.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  6. Warm the wraps briefly in a microwave or on a skillet until pliable.
  7. Spread a layer of sauce evenly over each wrap.
  8. Top with chopped beef, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced pickles, and optional onions.
  9. Roll each wrap tightly like a burrito.
  10. Optional: Toast the rolled wraps in a skillet for 1–2 minutes per side until lightly golden.
