In a very enjoyable extended grocery shopping trip yesterday as part of my mommy time, I found cute little mini kids yoplait yogurts with Cars Movie stuff on them.  Figured I would surrender to kid marketing tactics and see if they work on my crew.  Worked like a charm on 2/3.  Perfect little size and just wanted to get some variation in our yogurt rotation.   Also scored organic blackerries and blueberries at Trader Joe’s – at a fraction of the price I usually purchase them for.  I can hear the money hitting the floor every time the kids chuck an organic off season berry off their plate – if I am nearby I try a diving catch for falling ones.  All those years of softball thus do not go unwasted…

Matty prefers/requires two of everything he is eating – and I just don’t have the willpower to fight him, so his extra yogurt that was never opened – just held in his fluffy little hand, became my breakfast. Collected untouched berries from kids plates, opened a 100 calorie pack of almonds and drizzled 1 teaspoon of maple syrup on top of it all – because I have a teeny tiny Buddy the Elf living inside of me that wants maple syrup on everything.
